Cinegraphe is a film production house founded in 1976 and operates offices in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada. Over the years the company has produced some five hundred films and videos and won numerous awards. Feature credits include Short Change (1989), Women Without Wings (2002), Lakefront (2004) and The Backup Man (2006) which was released theatrically by Carlton Films in Canada in 2007. The company recently wrapped on two new feature films in 2008: Killing Ruth - the Snuff Dialogues and My Best Friend's Deception.
Although features are important, the company continues to produce one-off documentaries for an international market such as Martin Frobisher and the Baffin Fraud (2004).
Cinegraphe has solid experience in making relatively low budget feature films in foreign locations and is actively involved in minority co-productions around the globe.

TAX CREDITS
The Quebec government has just adopted a new production services tax credit for foreign producers at a whopping 25% of total Quebec spend (note an additional 5% applies to special effects work). They have essentially doubled the value of the rebate which with the federal production services tax credit now provides the foreign producer with a total rebate of 29.0% !
